One of the largest annual gatherings of mobile technology experts, enthusiasts and business capitalists took place last February 22-25 at the Fira Gran Via, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain. The GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) is indeed a much-awaited event in the industry every year because of its wide scope and open opportunities for both knowledge and entrepreneurship.

This year, the Congress was graced by some of the most skilled and knowledgeable practitioners in the industry of mobile technology like AT&T's Vice Chairman and President of the AT&T Business Solutions & AT&T International, Mr. Ralph de la Vega, Cisco's CEO, Mr. Chuck Robbins, CEO of Intel Corporation, Mr. Brian Krzanich, Vodafone Chief Executive, Mr. Vittorio Colao, Deputy Chairman and Rotating CEO of Huawei, Mr. Guo Ping, Facebook's renowned Founder and CEO, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, Ford Motor Company's very own President & CEO, Mr. Mark Fields, the Founder & CEO of the world-famous pop culture website Buzzfeed, Mr. Jonah Peretti, and more of the earth's most brilliant minds in mobile innovation took part in this big event.

Mobile technology is one of the fastest growing industries during the recent years. And as the whole market moves and evolves, more favorable chances can arise for everyone in the field. That is what the Mobile World Congress always desires to underscore during its annual events. This year, the organizers want to profoundly educate the participants with the current standing and the future of the mobile industry.

MWC also showcased the most advanced and world-class products and innovations today's technology can offer. Companies and individuals were given the floor to highlight their latest creations and upcoming trends.

The next year's Congress is yet to be announced. But one thing is for sure - MWC will be bigger and even better in 2017. Watch out!
